Infraestructuras de Canadá participa en importante proyecto de desarrollo en Mont-Tremblant

Mont-Tremblant, Québec - La compañía estatal - Infraestructuras de Canadá - anunció hoy su participación en un importante proyecto de desarrollo en Mont-Tremblant, valorado en más de $ 47,5 millones. El proyecto es el resultado de una colaboración entre el Gobierno de Canadá, el Gobierno de Québec, la ciudad de Mont-Tremblant y la estación de Mont Tremblant.

"Estoy muy complacido de que el Gobierno de Canadá esté contribuyendo a la realización de un proyecto turístico que es tan importante para Québec", dijo Jean-C. Lapierre, Ministro de Transporte y Responsable Político para asuntos de Québec. "Esta asociación, un magnífico ejemplo de una eficaz colaboración entre los tres niveles de gobierno y el sector privado, aumentará todavía más el atractivo turístico de Québec y de Canadá en toda América del Norte y en otras partes del mundo."

Las inversiones por parte del gobierno de Canadá, a través del Fondo Estratégico de Infraestructuras, se utilizarán, entre otras cosas, para desarrollar aún más la red de carreteras, abastecimiento de agua y alcantarillado y los sistemas de las pistas de esqui de Mont-Tremblant tanto en la cara sur como en la norte de dicha estación de Esquí.

Infrastructure Canada participates in important development project in Mont-Tremblant

MONT-TREMBLANT, Québec - Infrastructure Canada today announced a $47.5-million participation in an important development project in Mont-Tremblant. The project is the result of a partnership between the Government of Canada, the Government of Québec, the city of Mont-Tremblant and Station Mont Tremblant, wholly-owned by Intrawest.

“I’m very pleased the Government of Canada is contributing to the realization of a tourism project that is so important for Québec,” said the Honourable Jean-C. Lapierre, Minister of Transport and Political Lieutenant for Québec. “This partnership, a terrific example of an efficient collaboration between all three levels of government and the private sector, will further enhance the attractiveness of the Québec and Canadian tourism offerings throughout North America and elsewhere in the world.”

The Government of Canada investment, made through the Canada Strategic Infrastructure Fund, will be used, amongst other things, to further develop roadways, and waterworks and sewer systems on both the southern and northern faces of Station Mont Tremblant.
